Sailing events |

A sailing race clinic will be held on 3-4 May for members who have basic sailing skills certificate and 30 logged sailing hours as a helmsman. |

Want to try sailing on a yacht? Members may now sign up for one session of the sailing course, or enrol in five sessions for a comprehensive crew training. Training begins in May. |

CPA badminton championship |
Come meet the challenge and gain match experience at the badminton championship on 25 May at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre. There will be men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles in a single knock-out format at 21 points. |

Dance class in May and June |
|
In late May, Jive and Foxtrot will be taught on Thursdays while Jazz Funk on Fridays. Jazz will be held on Saturdays starting in June. Come to make friendship and practise your steps. |

Come join the CPA bridge tournament on 7 June to put your bridge skills to the test. |

RSCP tennis tournament |
|
The Institute is forming a representative team to compete in the RSCP tennis tournament on 22 June in Kowloon Tong Club against the dentists, doctors, lawyers and surveyors. It comprises of men's doubles and mixed doubles. If you are an elite CPA tennis player, join our team now by 9 May. The internal selection process will be based on, among other things, your past records in external competitions. |

CPA football competition |
The preliminary round of the football competition ended on 13 April. Out of the 27 teams, the best eight teams have advanced to quarter final held on 26-27 April. Click to view the interim results. |

HKIA Sports and Family Day |
Leung Ka-kit, Tam King-tong, Tse Hoi-fat and Tse Ka-chun won the championship at the 4 x 100m relay race with a time of 00:50:75 at the family day organized by Hong Kong Institute of Architects on 12 April. Thanks to other team members who participated in 4 x 25m steeplechase relay race and tug-of-war. Click to see photos. |

Marathon results |
Congratulations to the team of two past presidents Keith Pogson and Susanna Chiu who won the SME Chairman Cup and to Fu Wing-yiu, Ho Ka-ho, Ip Chung-yuen, Daniel Martin, Wong Chun-wai and Michael Yeung who clinched the championship in the various categories of the SME Marathon Cup 2014. They received their prizes at the ceremony on 9 April. Winners of our internal CPA marathon competition also received their awards at the post-marathon drinks on 7 April. RSCP basketball tournament |
The CPA basketball team clinched championship in the RSCP basketball tournament for two consecutive years on 23 March. Kurkye Wong and Vanco Keung were also winners of Top Assist and 3-point Shootout Game respectively. Click to see photos. |

Charity events |
|
Sports and Recreation Club interest groups' members volunteered their time to show their care for the community. Some visited The Spastics Association of Hong Kong and painted portraits with the patients while others visited the elderly at the Caritas home for old aged bringing them gifts and staging performances in celebration of the Year of the Horse. Calligraphy class on Cao Shu (草書), which comprises 15 lessons, will commence on 15 May. Join now to learn this Chinese traditional art from the famous calligraphist Lau Choi-cheong. |
