  2018 SMP Symposium  

Attend the SMP Symposium on 30 Nov to get updates on topical issues affecting small- and medium-sized practitioners, including taxation, major financial reporting and auditing standards, legislation affecting companies, proposed changes to the Practical Experience Framework, practice review and compliance matters, as well as recent development of the Institute and the International Federation of Accountants. There is also a session to meet the Legislative Council Functional Constituency - Accountancy Member, the Honourable Kenneth Leung.

Hong Kong's changing tax landscape
Join the evening seminar on 8 Nov highlighting key aspects of the Inland Revenue (Amendment) (No.6) Ordinance 2018 including the reconciling source principles and transfer pricing, and the impact of changing legislation on acceptable tax structures and on tax controversy landscape.

Workshop for audit staff and senior

The Institute is conducting a post-implementation review of its Small and Medium Sized Entity Financial Reporting Framework and Financial Reporting Standard, and requests for your feedback by 18 Feb. Roundtable discussions are being organized for stakeholders to provide verbal feedback — more details soon.
