Public forums on listed entity auditors regulation consultation

The government will hold two consultation sessions on 21 July and 24 Aug. for its "Proposals to Improve the Regulatory Regime of Listed Entity Auditors". Enrolment deadline is 14 July. For updates on the consultation including media coverage, please visit the Institute's dedicated web page.


Consultation forum on standard working hours

To facilitate the consultation by the government's Standard Working Hours Committee with the accountancy profession, the Institute is organizing a forum on 21 July for members to express their views. +

 
  Professional development and events
Getting prepared for full implementation of the Competition Ordinance

At the PAIB forum on 22 July, representatives from the Competition Commission will talk about the new Competition Ordinance which will come into effect next year. It's also an opportunity for members to give feedback that could help smooth the introduction of the new law and strengthen Hong Kong's competition environment.


Credit management: balance sheet protection and trade risk mitigation
The seminar on 7 Aug. will give an overview on various credit management tools and teach you how to assess credit information, handle collections and litigation, and improve balance sheet management. +

Reminders
The seminar on 1 Aug. will cover the importance of fund market to Hong Kong economy and its integration with the Mainland market. +
Don't miss the IPO series in August to learn more about initial public offering issues in Hong Kong and China, and internal control requirements.
The COSO series looking into the impact of the new COSO framework will be rescheduled to 23 July.

Tennis training course
