Dance fun night |
|
Last Saturday, dance fun night received resounding success. Thanks to Dance Interest Group Convenor Simty Yau and her organizing committee for bringing the joy to us. Council member Eric Tong and Sports and Recreation Club Convenor Gabriel Tam presented awards to the following dance competition winners:

Oxfam Trailwalker |
|
Congratulations to all six HKICPA teams for completing the 100km trail race within 34 hours. The team of Edwin Yeung, Pearl Chau, Terry Chiu and Simon Leung also won the first place in the accountancy category with 19 hours 36 minutes. They have been training together with over 30 support team members in the past eight months. Around the Island Race |
|
Five HKICPA boats with 33 sailing team members participated in the Around the Island Race on 16 Nov. Congratulations to Kathleen Chan, Daniel Leung, Carl Hung and Katrine Fong, whose boat "May 13", came second in the high performance boat J70/80 class and 45 out of 140 racing boats overall. It was the first time that our team got a trophy at the race and attained the highest ranking in this open regatta in Hong Kong. Click to see photos. |

Enrol in the golf day on 20 Dec. at Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club, which is a crossover event organized by the Young Members Group and Golf Interest Group. |

Join the golf lessons with golf professional, Tommy Kan, in December or January, which cover all levels. |

Mini bridge tournament |
The final mini bridge tournament of this season will take place on 13 Dec. It's your last chance to compete for the Bridge Interest Group Trophy. |

Dance events |
|
The December dinner gathering for dance lovers will be held on 12 Dec. at Star Galaxy Dance Club in Causeway Bay. Join now to meet new friends and enjoy the fun of dancing. |
|
In January, Waltz (elementary I) and Rumba (elementary II) will be taught on Thursdays, while Jazz Funk and Jazz will run on Fridays and Saturdays respectively. Join now and keep dancing to stay healthy. |

Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon |
If you have signed up with the Institute as CPA runners at the 2015 Standard Chartered Marathon, come to collect your runner's pack from the Institute upon receipt of the organizer's acceptance letter by January. Collection period lasts from 18 to 24 Feb. Individual runners will receive an email with detailed information. |

DIG x SgIG New Year party |
Come celebrate the New Year with Dance Interest Group and Singing Interest Group members at their joint party on 11 Jan. at the Tonno Club. There will be singing, dancing and games. Sign up before 3 Dec. to enjoy the early bird rate. |

CPA bowling summer league |
|
The team "Cyclone X" beat nine other teams to become the winner of the summer league ended in October. Thomas Cheng and May Chang were the men's and ladies' high series winners respectively, while Ricky Lee and Queenie Li were the best improved bowlers. Click to see results and photos. |

The elementary tennis training course, which comprises four 2-hour sessions, will commence on Tuesday evenings in January, subject to venue availability. Experienced coach will provide a structural training for beginners. |
