CE responds to reports on talents import

Institute Chief Executive talked to Sing Tao Daily last week about some media's reports on the proposed list of talents import which includes accountants. He expressed his concern on the proposal and stated that the profession has not been consulted on the matter.

China investment and offshore opportunities

The China investment, offshore companies and offshore trust series between February and March will cover the opportunities related to foreign direct investment, outbound direct investment, and how to go offshore by using various structures of company and trust.


New Companies Ordinance
The seminar on 9 Feb. will focus on financial reporting issues of the new ordinance, including exemption from preparation of consolidated financial statements and business review in the directors' report. +
At the symposium on 9 March, experts will review the first year of the ordinance's implementation and discuss how to fine-tune its operations. +
