Come join the fun Sports and Recreation Club Night

The annual Sports and Recreation Club Night will be held on 10 July at Telford Recreation Club to recognize our CPA sportsmen for representing the Institute in various external competitions. Come enjoy the fun-filled evening with sumptuous meals and party with your fellow members.

Get prepared for Oxfam Trailwalker

The Institute is recruiting members for the race team and support team for this year's Oxfam Trailwalker to be held on 20-22 Nov. For the former, members are subject to a selection process based on their training performance, while the latter has no such requirement. Ping Shan heritage trail walk

Come join the Ping Shan heritage trail walk on 3 May to learn more about the traditional life of Tang's family and enjoy a "pun choi" feast. A docent tour will be provided by Antiquities and Monuments Office.


Badminton events

Try out this popular racquet game at the badminton fun night on 15 May at Smithfield Sports Centre. Institute's badminton team will be there to play with you and an experienced coach will offer some basic training.

Come meet the challenge and gain match experience at the CPA badminton championship on 31 May at South Island School. There will be men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles in a single knock-out format of 21 points.


Photography sharing sessions

Professional photographers will come to the sharing sessions in May and June to talk about commercial products and taking photos of portrait, polar aurora, milky way and deep sky object. These sessions will not only enhance your photography knowledge, but also provide a networking with other local photography enthusiasts.


Snooker events

Sign up for the snooker fun day on 16 May to explore the fun of this British cue sport. There will be trick shot demonstrations and tips from experienced players.

A 4-session snooker training course will begin on 17 May where beginner and intermediate sessions are available.

Come join the snooker league commencing on 7 June to test your skills.

Dance events

The first K-Pop MV dance class will be held on every Friday starting on 22 May, while Jazz will continue on Saturday starting on 9 May. Keep dancing to relieve the stress from work.

The Cha Cha Cha dance taught by Polly Cheung will commence on 3 June at Tsim Sha Tsui. Try this new class and learn from the new tutor.
The May dance dinner will be held on 22 May at "Sladance" in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Table tennis league

The table tennis league will take place on 24 May, which is divided into premier league, champion league and mixed league groups for players of different levels.


Swimming classes

Enrol in the swimming classes at Victoria Park Swimming Pool between June and August to improve your skills through consistent training.


Sailing events

An introductory dinghy sailing course for beginners and two sailing clinics for level 2 or above sailors are available in June and July at the Jockey Club Wong Shek Water Sports Centre.

Singing events

Showcase your talent at the CPA music night on 13 June at Sheung Wan Civic Centre. Solo, duo or group performances are all welcome. Limited spaces remain.

Singing Interest Group is re-running the 8-session singing and guitar playing class starting on 8 June. Enrol now if you wish to sing your favourite tune while playing the guitar.
 
  Competitions and awards

CPA bowling competition

Congratulations to Darren Lee, Michael Ma and Lydia Chau who won the championship for grades A, B and C respectively in the graded bowling competition on 29 March. Darren also won the men's overall single highest scoring game with a score of 214 while Kan Miu-yee won in ladies with a score of 181. Click to see results and photos.


Bowling winter league

Team Highton beat nine other teams to become the champion of the bowling winter league 2014-15. Congratulations to team members, Carol Cheng, Fion Lai, Idy Lai, Darren Lee, Daniel Lui and Esther Poon. Click to see results and photos.

Photography practice session

A photography practice session with the theme "Hong Kong in the Past" led by member David Luk was held on 18 April. Participants shared their skills and experiences on taking black and white pictures. Click to see their photos.


Joint professional networking party – "The Gatsby Glam"

  Upcoming events

Tennis training

The intermediate and elementary tennis training course will be held in mid-May and early June respectively, subject to venue availability. Both classes consist of four 2-hour sessions and experienced coaches will provide structural training.

  Upcoming events

RSCP annual dinner

Come join the RSCP annual dinner on 23 May at The Grand Stage to enjoy a relaxing evening and networking with other professional bodies. It will be held in conjunction with the RSCP singing contest. Special guests include veteran composer Michael Lai Siu-tin and pop singer Alfred Hui.


RSCP tennis tournament

Time to recruit members to represent the Institute at the RSCP tennis tournament in June/July, subject to venue availability. If you are an elite CPA tennis player, please put forward your name by 10 May. Internal selection based on, among other things, level of skills, results from past competitions and sportsmanship will be conducted.
