Support Nepal quake victims

A devastating earthquake struck Nepal last Saturday, causing widespread damage and casualties. Thousands have been injured and millions of people have lost their homes and are in dire need of food, water, shelter, warm clothing and hygiene kits. Act now to help those in need by making donations to charity organizations that support the relief efforts.

 

Dealing with competition law investigations

Given the impending implementation of the Hong Kong Competition Ordinance, the Forensic Interest Group seminar on 19 May will talk about investigations into anti-competitive practices.


Things you should know before presenting cases to Board of Review

The seminar on 8 June will discuss what a taxpayer needs to pay attention to before presenting a case to the Inland Revenue Board of Review. It also covers recent cases and developments. +


Tackling PRC tax risk challenges

Enrol in the seminar on 24 June to learn more about the latest development of anti-avoidance regulations in China, tax considerations of indirect transfer of Chinese assets and how to restructure business effectively. +

Directors of the year

The Directors of the Year Award organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors is open for nomination until 31 July.

 
Sailing events
The introductory sailing course for beginners and two sailing clinics for level 2 or above will be held in June and July at the Jockey Club Wong Shek Water Sports Centre.

Cha Cha Cha dance class
The elementary Cha Cha Cha dance class will commence on 3 June. Join now to enjoy the Cha Cha Cha world.

The annual party is back and will be held on 10 July at Telford Recreation Club to recognize our CPA sportsmen for representing the Institute in various external competitions. There will be games and sumptuous meals. +

Come meet the challenge and gain match experience at the badminton championship on 31 May.

Swimming classes
Come join the swimming classes for various levels between June and August at Victoria Park Swimming Pool to improve your skills through consistent training.

Singing and guitar playing class
Come join the 8-session singing and guitar playing class starting on 8 June to learn how to sing your favourite song while playing a guitar.

Enrol in the table tennis league on 24 May, where you can choose a group that best matches your playing level.

The snooker fun day will take place on 16 May with trick shot demonstrations and tips from experienced players.
