  "One Belt, One Road" and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank  

The Current Affairs Series kicks off on 22 June with Tong Xiaoling, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the HKSAR (外交部駐香港特別行政區特派員公署副特派員佟曉玲), discussing the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. The seminar has proven to be overwhelmingly popular as it was fully booked soon after start of enrolment. Make a difference: CPAs supporting NGOs

The Institute held the fourth "CPAs for NGOs" seminar on 5 June to share with 105 heads and executives of social service organizations tips on setting policies and procedures for improving their governance, accountability, financial management, and human resources management, and for fulfilling the best practices guidelines set by the Social Welfare Department. Enrol in the seminar on 13 July to understand more about the accountants' role in the insolvency regime, duties and risks of a liquidator, and the procedures of disciplinary proceedings. +


Exchange traded funds update

Speakers of the Financial Services Interest Group seminar on 9 July will update you on latest global trends of the exchange traded funds and will share their insights on evaluating ETFs.
