RSCP annual dinner cum singing contest

Congratulations to Elaine Kwong and Adam Wong who clinched the championship in the Recreation and Sports Club for Hong Kong Professional Bodies singing contest (group category) held at its annual dinner on 23 May. President Dennis Ho and Vice Presidents Mabel Chan and Ivy Cheung were among the cheering team with 60 members. Click to see photos.

Athletics Interest Group events

Come join the health talk by Elton Ng, a sports physiotherapist, on preventive measures and treatments for sports injuries on 29 June.
A series of trailwalker practices will take place leading up to the Oxfam Trailwalker in November. Sign up and get yourself prepared for the challenge. 

The fitness training class between July and September will focus on cardio and stretching exercises for members to stay fit and flexible.


Football team members wanted

The Football Interest Group is recruiting members to form representative teams to participate in the 11-a-side league starting in August. If you are a football enthusiast and have a strong sense of team spirit, join our teams by 30 June.


Dance events

The elementary Waltz course taught by Polly Cheung will commence on 8 July at Tsim Sha Tsui. Join now to learn this elegant ballroom dance.

In July, Jazz Funk will continue on Fridays, while Jazz will be held on Saturdays. Choose the one which best suits your interest.

The July dance dinner will be held on 24 July at Sladance in Tsim Sha Tsui.


Priority entry for the Standard Chartered Marathon 2016

By virtue of Institute's membership with the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association, members can register as HKAAA registered athlete to enjoy the priority entry for the 2016 Standard Chartered Marathon. If you do not wish to miss the 2016 marathon, please complete and return your application with required document by 10 July.


Dragon boat training course

The Dragon Boat Interest Group is organizing a training course for beginners on 12 and 19 July.


Sailing courses

Training courses including levels one and two dinghy sailing are available in August and September for you to explore this exciting sport. Different schedules and venues are available.


Photography events

A professional photographer will talk about taking photos in South Pole at the sharing session on 24 July.

Two practice sessions will be organized in July and August for members who are interested in evening and sunset photography.

Second mini bridge tournament

Stephen Lee and Fong Yuk won the championship in the second mini bridge tournament on 13 June. Dora Lo and Hon Sze-chung were first runner-ups, while Fok Kai-kwong and Martin Lee were second runner-ups. Click to see photos.


CPA badminton championship

Congratulations to the top winners of the 31 May CPA badminton championship: T.W. Yap (men's singles), Jenny Chan (women's singles), Kenny Cheng and Eric Man (men's doubles), Jenny Chan and Maggie Law (women's doubles) and Angel Kwong and T.W. Yap (mixed doubles). CPA music night

Around 100 members and their friends enjoyed the singing and guitar performances put together by Singing Interest Group at the CPA music night on 13 June. Vice Presidents Mabel Chan and Ivy Cheung and Council members Patrick Law and Stephen Law were among the audience to support the event.


Hong Kong Geopark visit

Around 50 members and their families and friends spent a wonderful Sunday visiting the geopark, including Lai Chi Chong and the Grass Island, on 7 June. Click to see photos.

Merry Monday

Leadership skills are important to career development. At the Merry Monday on 6 July, a speaker from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Art's Extension and Continuing Education for Life will talk about how to enhance your leadership skills through improvisation drama. Members will find it easy to assimilate the techniques that a good leader should possess in a fun way.


Tennis training

The elementary and intermediate tennis courses in July are now open for enrolment. Consisting of four 2-hour training sessions, the courses will have experienced coaches providing structural training and practice.
