Free Tickets for CPA music night

Come cheer for our talented CPA singers at the CPA music night on 19 Sept. at Leighton Hill Community Hall. Free tickets are available.


Golf Interest Group events

Come learn from golf professional Tommy Kan, who has over 17 years of coaching experience, at the golf lessons in September.
Last call to sign up for the first golf day of the new season on 21 Sept. at Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course. You may choose from the player-friendly south course or the challenging east course.
Hone your golf skills at the 4-session beginner or intermediate golf training class in October at South China Athletic Association.

Enrol in the advanced short game with golf professional Lokky Lee on 10 Oct. at Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course to sharpen your skills.


Dance events

In September, Waltz will be taught on Thursdays, while Jazz Funk and Jazz will be on Fridays and Saturdays respectively.
Don't forget to enrol in the dance fun night on 12 Sept. to enjoy dance demonstration, performance, competition and group dancing. Bring your friends and families to explore the fun of dancing.
The September dance dinner will be skipped as the dance fun night will be held in the same month. Stay tuned for details of the October dinner.

Standard Chartered Marathon 2016

The Standard Chartered Marathon will take place on 17 Jan. and online enrolment will start in September. Watch for the public announcement.

A briefing session on the marathon preparation and training is scheduled for 5 Oct. and a series of training programmes will be held in October to cater to different levels of runners. Join now to get prepared for the race.

If you wish to represent the Institute in the business challenge races (10km, half marathon and full marathon), please put forward your name by 31 Aug. The selection criteria is based on your past records and the Institute's decision will be final.

 
  Competitions and awards

Homeless World Cup Fundraising Tournament

The Institute's Charitable Fund sponsored the CPA football team to participate in the Homeless World Cup Fundraising Tournament on 25 and 26 July at Macpherson Playground. The team won the championship in the Cares Shield category. Click to see photos.


CPA basketball competition

Congratulations to PwC Phantom for clinching the championship at the CPA basketball competition ended on 8 Aug. Warren Cheung of PwC Cyclone was winner of the 3-point shootout game. Click to see results and photos.

Photography practice sessions

Two photography practice sessions led by members Irene Chiu and Albert Leung were held in July and August respectively, where participants shared the techniques for sunset and evening shootings. Click to see photos.


Yachting courses

Nineteen participants joined the yachting courses between June and August with great fun.  Click to see photos.

Merry Monday

Many avid travellers have Tibet on their list but due to concerns of high altitude sickness, most of them have yet to set foot on the Roof of the world. With photographs taken in Tibet, member Rainier Lam will give you his first-hand traveling experience in this place of wonder at the Merry Monday on 7 Sept.


Tennis training course

The elementary tennis course in September is now open for enrolment. Consisting of four 2-hour training sessions, the course will have experienced coaches providing structural training and practice.


Calligraphy class

Taught by famous calligrapher Lau Choi-cheong (劉才昌), the 18-session calligraphy class on Wang Xizhi's (王羲之) Xing Shu (行書) and Cao Shu (草書) will commence on 12 Sept.

Put forward your name if you wish to represent the Institute in the RSCP snooker tournament on 13 Sept. and 11 Oct. The main selection criteria, among other things, are based on player's performance in past competitions and Institute's snooker activities.
