  Institute and IFRS Foundation co-host IFRS Conference  

More than 230 participants from around the world and Hong Kong attended the conference on 12-13 Oct. Speakers from the IASB including its Chairman Hans Hoogervorst, leading Hong Kong and regional CFOs, and IFRS experts provided insight on upcoming standards and discussed the latest updates. Carlson Tong, Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission, gave the keynote address, while the Institute President Dennis Ho gave the welcome remarks. Cycling for charity
CPAs are always active in supporting a wide spectrum of activities to give back to community. The latest one saw the Institute's Chief Executive Raphael Ding participating in the CEO Charity Ride at the inaugural Hong Kong Cyclothon on 10 Oct. The event raised funds for the Community Chest and the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong. Click to see photos.
