Professional skepticism is often perceived as the cornerstone of audit quality especially since the business environment is getting ever more complicated. This online course aims to enhance your ability to apply skeptical thinking to audit work.


Taxation Faculty seminar re strategies on using trust
Come to the Taxation Faculty seminar on 27 April to learn more about the tax implications of trusts, their setup procedures, structures, pros and cons.

2017 PRC CPA exam
The PRC CPA Uniform Examination is now open for enrolment until 28 April. Eligible HKICPA members may apply for exemption from four papers. For enquiries, please contact CICPA Hong Kong office.

IT series
The IT series between May and July will discuss how cloud technology can facilitate integrated business planning and how to design and implement a cloud strategy for SMEs.

Invitations to Comment

The Institute issued invitations to comment on IASB Exposure Draft ED/2017/2 Improvements to IFRS 8 Operating Segments (Proposed Amendments to IFRS 8 and IAS 34) and IASB Discussion Paper DP/2017/1 Disclosure Initiative – Principles of Disclosure. Please submit your comments by 9 July 2017 and 4 August 2017, respectively.


Institute's comments on IAASB Discussion Paper

The Institute provided comments on the IAASB's Discussion Paper Exploring the Demand for Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagements and Other Services, and the Implication for the IAASB's International Standards.

 
Bowling league awards
