Invitations to comment

The Institute is seeking comments on IASB exposure draft ED/2017/3 Prepayment Features with Negative Compensation (Proposed Amendments to IFRS 9). Although such types of prepayment features are not common in Hong Kong, stakeholders preliminarily think that the IASB should clarify the principle of "reasonable additional compensation" instead of creating an exception. Comments are requested by 16 May.

We also invite comments on the exposure draft PN 860.1 (Revised) The Audit of Retirement Schemes by 25 May.
