  Council visit to Mainland  
The Institute's annual Mainland visit on 14-18 May included meetings with senior officials from numerous government organizations. The two cocktail receptions, hosted in Beijing and Shanghai, were attended by close to 200 guests and members. Click to see photos.

Insurance contracts
The IASB has issued IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts which will take effect on 1 January 2021. This video, by the IASB Chairman, introduces the new standard. A range of implementation materials are also available.
