Best Corporate Governance Awards

At a press briefing this afternoon, the Institute invited companies to enrol in the Best Corporate Governance Awards 2017. This year marks the 18th year of the awards and along with a new category for mid-size non-HSI companies, commendations will be handed out to companies in both the private and public sectors with outstanding corporate governance standards. SFC enforcement on corporate misconduct and fraud

The joint Restructuring and Insolvency Faculty and Forensics Interest Group lunch seminar on 19 July will cover developments in SFC enforcement to tackle fraud and misconduct of listed companies.

IP protection for innovation in financial sector

The seminar on 24 Aug. will provide an overview on how innovation in the financial sector can be protected under PRC and Hong Kong law, and discuss the management of brands and service marks used by financial sector companies.

Global Directorship Programme

The Hong Kong Institute of Directors is partnering with the Institute of Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge to launch the Global Directorship Programme, which will focus on sustainability that inspires board leaders to go beyond compliance, and excellence in board practices in a global setting. Institute members are entitled to a special rate for enrolment.

Conference on business ethics

Join the ICAC Conference on Business Ethics for Listed Companies on 1 Sept. to learn about the latest developments in corporate governance and the importance of ethical leadership.

CPA Table Tennis Competition
