National Day Celebration Dinner

 

The 68th National Day Celebration Dinner for the accounting profession will take place on 20 Sept. at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Members are welcome to reserve a seat or table, become a sponsor, subscribe to the compliment listings in newspaper supplements, and donate lucky draw prizes.


Why the board needs to be earth ready
With high expectations over transparency, governance and transitioning to a low carbon future, businesses need to reassess their strategies. The seminar on 3 Aug. will talk about the role that a board should play and how it could organize better in meeting the challenges. +

Practical knowledge in strategic finance
The Strategic Finance module of the Financial Controllership Programme will begin in August. Participants will learn more about capital planning, bank financing, treasury and risk management, as well as debt and equity capital markets.

The value of continuous accounting
Enrol in the seminar on 31 Aug. to learn how to simplify procedures and do financial closing efficiently and accurately while complying with IFRS and governance, risk and compliance regulations, and to bring value through continuous accounting. +

Sharpen your competitiveness through IT under Belt and Road
The seminar on 25 Aug. will discuss the current business opportunities offered by Belt and Road to SMEs, and introduce cloud computing for globalization trading and its benefits. +

This year's Cross-straits, Hong Kong and Macau Accounting Profession Conference (海峽兩岸及港澳地區會計師行業交流研討會) will be hosted by CICPA on 18 Sept. in Yinchuan, Ningxia (寧夏銀川市).
The Institute's annual dinner will be held on 5 Dec. at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
