Sports and Recreation Night

Around 280 members and guests joined the annual Sports and Recreation Night on 28 July, where President Mabel Chan and Vice President Patrick Law delivered a remarkable singing performance. The Singing Interest Group (represented by Carol Chan, Parco Wu, Natalie Tam and Adam Wong) won the beer drinking contest, while Fion Lai and Jonathan Lam of the Dragon Boat Interest Group won the plank contest. Marathon training

A series of marathon training classes will start in Sept for members who are preparing for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on 21 Jan 2018. CPA runners are encouraged to join the free briefing session on 11 Sept to learn more about preparation and training strategies.


Recruiting runners

The Institute will nominate 12 members to compete in the Standard Chartered Marathon 2018 – Corporate Challenge Cup with four in each of the 10 km, half marathon and full marathon race categories. Put forward your name if you wish to represent the Institute. All applicants are required to undergo a selection process in which selection criteria will be based on runners' past records.
