Standard Chartered Marathon updates

Thanks to members' great support, the Institute has won the "Most Supportive Group" award of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2019. Come visit the Institute's booth and enjoy on-site services at the Causeway Bay Sports Ground after your race on 17 Feb! To get prepared for the marathon and to learn race preparation strategies, join the briefing on 25 Jan.


 
 
  Upcoming events
 

Dance events

Intermediate level cha-cha-cha and elementary level jive classes will both begin on 3 Jan in North Point.

The next round of beginners jazz classes start on 12 Jan in Mongkok.

Dance and dine at the monthly dance dinner on 11 Jan at 百樂會 in Tsim Sha Tsui.


Bridge gathering

The bridge gathering on 11 Jan is now open for enrolment. Furnish your skills by joining this practice session.

 

 


Golf day

Join the golf day and tee off with your fellow members at Phoenix Hill Golf Club in Dongguan on 26 Jan.

 

 

 


 
 
  Competitions and Awards
 

Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong's invitational tournament

Congratulations to the champion team of Kenneth Lam and Thomas Tsang who won the open men's doubles table tennis tournament on 17 Nov at the invitational tournament organized by the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong. Kenneth Kwan and Tommy Wong also came second in the open men's doubles tennis tournament on 14 Oct. In addition, the Institute won the "Best Team Spirit Award" (最具合作精神獎). RSCP Marathon Competition

The Institute's runners won three team championships for 10km, half marathon and full marathon races, as well as many individual medals at the RSCP Marathon Competitions against architects, barristers, dentists, doctors and lawyers. Click to see full results and photos of the prize.

 


Cross Border Competitions

The Institute sent two teams to compete in the annual Cross Border Competitions with CPAs from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen on 2 Dec in Guangzhou. Our teams finished third in badminton and fourth in football. Click to see photos.

 

 


Bowling league awards

Congratulations to the top three teams of the bowling summer league, Kuma, JJ6015 and Flash, who received awards on 7 Dec. Carol Cheng and Bevis Chan won the awards for highest series, while Carmen Ng and Patrick Lee took home prizes as the most improved players. Click here to see photos.

 


RSCP Bridge Tournament

Congratulations to the Institute's bridge team of Cheung Lai Fu, Stephen Fung, Francis Hui, Andy Leung and Peter Wong who won the RSCP Bridge Tournament on 16 Dec. Click to see photos.
