News highlights

	Standard Chartered Marathon
		About 350 CPA runners participated in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2019 on 17 Feb. The Institute's President Patrick Law, Council member Ken Li and four past presidents ran in the Corporate Challenge Chairman Cup 10 km race, and 12 elite runners represented the Institute in the Corporate Challenge Marathon Cup for the 10km, half marathon and full marathon races. 		A post-marathon drinks and prize presentation ceremony will be held at a later time where trophies will be presented to outstanding runners. All CPA runners are encouraged to submit your race time to compete for one of the trophies. Stay tuned for event details.

Upcoming events

Dance events

Enrol in the intermediate level samba and elementary level jive classes starting on 21 Mar in North Point, and beginners jazz classes on 23 Mar in Mongkok.

Dance and dine at the monthly dance dinner on 29 Mar at 百樂會 in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Golf day

Join the golf day and tee off with your fellow members at the Phoenix Hill Golf Club in Dongguan on 23 Mar.

Snooker training courses

Sign up for the 4-sesson weekly snooker training course at beginner or intermediate level starting on
24 Mar to brush up your snooker skills.

CPA graded bowling competition

The annual graded bowling competition will take place on 31 Mar at the South China Athletic Association Bowling Centre. Both novices and experienced bowlers are invited to attend, and enjoy this fun event with your fellow members.

Table tennis team league

Sign up for the table tennis team league on 14 Apr to gain match experience. Each team comprises 4 players where male and female players can compete with each other.

Competitions and Awards

	Charity badminton invitational tournament by The Cosmetic & Perfumery Association of Hong Kong
	Our badminton team members joined the Union Team of the Recreation and Sports Club for Hong Kong Professional Bodies (RSCP) who won tournament on 27 Jan. The team was formed by the RSCP, consisting of accountants, dentists, doctors and lawyers. Click to see photos.
