Sports and recreation night

Save the date for the sports and recreation night on
9 Aug to celebrate the achievements of our fellow CPA athletes.

 

 


National Day Celebration Dinner

The 70th National Day Celebration Dinner for the accounting profession will take place on 12 Sep at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Members are encouraged to book your seat, become a sponsor, offer compliments in newspaper supplements, and donate prizes.


  Upcoming events
 

Trailwalker practice

A series of practices will be held in June and July to help get members prepared for the 2019 Oxfam Trailwalker. Sign up now to boost your endurance if you intend to take part in the event.

 


Dance events

Enrol in the intermediate level rumba and elementary cha cha cha classes starting on 4 July in North Point, and beginner jazz classes from
27 July in Mongkok.

Dance and dine at the monthly dance dinner on
19 July at 百樂會 in Tsim Sha Tsui.


Snooker league

Join the Snooker league to compete with fellow snooker enthusiasts on 13 July. Don't miss this opportunity for a mixed league where male and female players will compete against each other.

 

 


RSCP annual dinner

Come mingle with members of other professional bodies and support our CPA singers at the RSCP annual dinner and singing contest on 27 July at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.

 

 


Singing technique classes

Enrol in a singing technique class starting in July to improve your vocal skill for singing pop songs. Limited spaces are still available.

 

 


 
  Competitions and Awards
 

CPA badminton championship winners

Congratulations to the top winners of the CPA badminton championship on 3 June: Lawrence Li and Tong Chi Long (men's doubles); Fiona Ching and Janelle Wu (women's doubles); and Joyce Kwong and Wyatt Yeung (mixed doubles). Click to see results and photos.

 


Five-point invitational competition

Congratulations to the Institute's badminton and table tennis teams who won the competition on
9 June against several government departments, including Audit Commission, Companies Registry, Inland Revenue Department and The Treasury. Click to see photos.

 


RSCP tennis tournament

Congratulations to the Institute's tennis team who won the champion at the RSCP tennis tournament
on 23 June against other professionals including dentists, doctors, lawyers and surveyors. Click to see results and photos.

 


RSCP dragon boat race

The Institute dragon boat team participated in the RSCP dragon boat race on 23 June racing against architects, barristers, dentists, lawyers and surveyors. Click to see photos.

 


Marathon results

Six Institute teams won the top spot and second place in all three categories (10km, half marathon and marathon) of the Chamber of Commerce Cup and received awards at the prize presentation ceremony on 26 June. Click to see results and photos.

HKAAA membership

Remember to apply or renew your Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association membership for 2019 (and affiliate with your Institute membership) by the end of June to enjoy priority entry for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2020.
