News highlights

	Recruitment of CPA marathon team
	The Institute is recruiting 12 members to compete in the Standard Chartered Marathon Corporate Challenge Cup with four runners in each of the 10 km, half marathon and full marathon race categories. All applicants will undergo a selection process based on the runners' recent times. Register now if you wish to represent the Institute.

Upcoming events

Dance events
	Enrol in the elementary level cha cha cha and elementary jive classes starting on 5 Sept in North Point, and beginner jazz classes from 28 Sept in Mongkok.
	Dance and dine at the monthly dance dinner on 27 Sept at 百樂門宴會廳 in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Bridge events
	Sign up for 2019's third mini bridge tournament on 28 Sept to gain tournament experience.
	The bridge gathering on 30 Sept is now open for enrolment. Furnish your skills by joining this practice session.

Snooker training course

Sign up for the 4-session weekly snooker training course at beginner, intermediate or master level to improve your snooker skills.

Singing technique classes

Join a singing technique class starting in September to improve your vocal skill for singing pop songs.

Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2020
Get ready for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on 9 Feb 2020. Look out for the opening of the ballot registration system for public entry on 18 Sept, and remember to register with the Institute as a CPA runner to enjoy a range of pre- and post-race support.

Competitions and Awards

	RSCP annual dinner and singing competition
	Dicky Chan, Helen Ho and Jacqueline Hsui represented the Institute in the Recreation and Sports Club for Hong Kong Professional Bodies (RSCP) singing competition on 27 July in front of more than 200 attendees including President Patrick Law, Vice-President Nelson Lam, and Chief Executive and Registrar Margaret Chan. Attendees enjoyed the night of exciting performances by the singing contestants including lawyers, barristers, doctors, dentists, architects and surveyors. Click to see photos.

Table tennis doubles team league

Congratulations to Daphne Chan, William Chan, Vincent Li, and Adrian Mak who won the table tennis doubles team league which concluded on 9 Aug. Click to see full results and photos.

RSCP tenpin bowling tournament

Congratulations to the Institute's bowling team who won the RSCP tenpin bowling tournament on 18 Aug against other professionals including dentists, doctors, lawyers and surveyors. Gavin Yuen and Patrick Lee were the winners of the individual high game. Click to see results and photos.
