Further to my circular of 21 September 2004, I am pleased to inform you that a Members' Forum will be held on Wednesday, 6 October 2004 to provide an opportunity for discussion of the captioned subjects:-

•	HKICPA's Education and Training Policy for Future Generations of Hong Kong CPAs
•	Recognition of Overseas Qualifications – Review and Transitional Arrangements

It also provides an opportunity for members to raise any questions with us on our recent negotiations with ACCA and/or other issues in relation to the Institute's mutual recognition arrangements with ACCA. The details are as follows:

Time:	6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Venue:	Room 601, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre 1 Harbour Road , Wanchai

The meeting will be hosted by the President, Vice-Presidents, Chief Executive & Registrar and Director of Education & Training.

This is an important meeting. Please come. Admission is for Institute members only.
