Membership Renewal

 

We have sent you earlier on 15 November, through normal mail, notice of the annual membership renewal details.

This is a gentle reminder that you should complete all necessary procedures for renewal of your membership registration and where applicable, your practising certificate before they expire on 31 December 2004. You can check your renewal status, including payment and declaration filing status, by viewing the Members Only section <http://www.hkicpa.org.hk/login/login.php?itemfrom=renewal> on our website.

Your co-operation to complete this process by 15 December 2004 is very much appreciated. This will help the Institute to save the costs of issuing final reminders/notices pursuant to section 27(2)(a) of the Professional Accountants Ordinance. The costs thus saved can be deployed by the Institute in other projects that are beneficial to the membership.

Please be reminded that under the provisions of the new section 28(2)(c) of the Professional Accountants Ordinance, your declaration of compliance with the mandatory CPD requirements for 2004 is a pre-requisite for your membership renewal for 2005. A form has been provided in your renewal package for your CPD declaration, the reporting period of which is from 1 December 2003 to 30 November 2004. We shall not be able to renew your registration without receiving your filing of this declaration.

Please ignore this letter if you have already completed your renewal process.
