Election Committee Subsector By-Elections ¡V Accountancy Subsector

As you will be aware, there are two vacancies under the Accountancy Subsector of the Election Committee. The Election Committee (EC) Subsector By-Elections to fill the two vacancies will be held on Sunday, 1 May 2005 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

A total of 12 candidates have registered to stand for election for the two vacancies under the Accountancy Subsector. To see the list of candidates, please see attached.

As a registered voter of the Accountancy Subsector, please show your support and cast your votes on Election Day. You are entitled to vote for as many candidates as there are vacancies and no more, i.e. two from the 12 candidates.

We understand from the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) that about 39 polling stations will open on Election Day, and that each voter will be assigned to a nearby station according to the voter's registered residential address.

Please cast your votes at the polling station assigned to you as set out on the Poll Card which will be issued to you by the REO five days before Election Day . If you do not receive your Poll Card by then or you have other questions relating to the EC Subsector By-Elections, please contact the REO direct at its telephone hotline: 2891 1001.

Please support the election and cast your votes on the Election Day.

Yours sincerely ,
