Institute President Congratulates SAR CE

The Institute's President, Edward K.F. Chow, wrote to the SAR's new Chief Executive, Donald Tsang, about the urgent need for proportionate liability for practising accountants. Hong Kong Teens Predict Prosperous Future


A
t a press briefing today, the Institute announced the findings of a survey about teenagers' attitudes towards money. It reveals
that many Hong Kong's teenagers have high hopes for the territory's future and they will be rich some day. The survey is one piece of a big programme undertaken by the Community Services Committee (CSC) called Rich Kid, Poor Kid aimed at helping young people better manage their money. Diploma in Insolvency is Here
I
f you are interested in receiving formal training in insolvency, the Institute's Diploma in Insolvency Programme is the opportunity you can't miss.
Starting on 3 September, this one-year programme is recognised by the Official Receiver's Office. It gives participants an in-depth knowledge of insolvency with particular emphasis on practical matters.
