Register for public elections

f you are a permanent resident of the HKSAR and have not yet
registered as an elector, please do so by 16 May 2006 to vote in the elections of Election Committee subsector (December 2006), District Council (2007) and Legislative Council (2008). Registered voters who have changed their particulars should report to the Registration and Electoral Office by 29 June 2006. Visit the voter website for more.

FRS forum - the 2005 experience

A ticket to mainland
The 2006 PRC CPA Uniform Examination (2006年度中華人民共和國註冊會計師統一考試辦法), taking place on 15-17 September, is now open for enrolment. Candidates who enrol through the Institute can sit the examination in Hong Kong. Please click here to enrol by 20 May.
IFAC publishes new handbook
The International Federation of Accountants has released its 2006 handbook on international auditing, assurance and ethics, covering pronouncements issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants up to end of 2005.
