n the evening of 12 May after the joint conference with ICAEW, the Institute is
hosting a dinner reception for Wang Jun, who will speak on Mainland accounting standards and their convergence with IFRS and HKFRS. M&A in China
A full-day symposium on mergers and acquisitions in the Mainland is in the making to enhance members' understanding on the booming issues. Mainland government official, experienced professionals and investors will share on the topic. Taking place on 26 May, the symposium is organised by the Institute and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Corrigendum
