CPD attracts special guests
irector of Audit Benjamin Tang, LegCo member Emily Lau and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Chief Executive William Ho joined 100 members for the Institute's CPD programme on corporate governance for public bodies and not-for-profit organisations on 8 June. Jim Wardell, member of the Corporate Governance Committee, led the seminar which was based around the Institute's guidance on public sector corporate governance.

What's new in mainland labour law
The Institute and the Trade Development Council are organising a joint seminar on mainland labour law on 20 June. Guangdong officials will update you on regulations covering accidental insurance, salary, working hours, recruitment, employment contracts, social security and labour disputes. Admission fee is $200 and you will get two CPD hours. Please enrol by 16 June.
