Financial Reporting Council (FRC) Bill passed today

he LegCo passed today the FRC Bill, which completes the Institute's regulatory reform package. The FRC has the authority to investigate complaints concerning listed companies' audits and standards of financial reporting. The Institute will continue to regulate its members and keep its investigative power over the audits of non-listed companies.

Official opening of the Institute's brand new offices

ou are cordially invited to the grand opening of the Institute's brand new offices at 6 p.m. on Friday, 28 July and tour around our 50,000-sq-ft premises on 37/f and 27/f of Wu Chung House. We're also hosting an open house for members for the whole weekend of 29 and 30 July between
9 a.m. to 6 p.m..

The members' lounge is open!

he Institute's new members' lounge on 27/f of Wu Chung House is now open. Come enjoy our many facilities including wireless LAN for laptop Internet access, TV, and food and drinks for sale. The lounge is open weekdays from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (extendable to 7 p.m. for meetings) and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
