Institute supports broadening tax base
t the press conference on 19 July, the Institute said that a broader tax base is essential to Hong Kong and goods and services tax proposed by the government is one way to get it. The Institute stressed that the government needs to design a GST that neutralises the regressive aspects on lower income families. Click here for the press release.
