New recognition agreement with ACCA

he Institute signed an agreement for recognition arrangements with ACCA on 22 August, setting the specific steps for ACCA members who want to join the Institute. The new agreement, and the others signed in the past few years, rationalise the Institute's approach to how CPAs are qualified. Click here to see the letter from the Institute's chief executive.
Closer collaboration with the Shenzhen Institute
he Institute signed a memorandum of co-operation (MOC) with the Shenzhen Institute of CPA on 24 August which replaces the previous MOC that expired in 2005. The new MOC aims to deepen exchanges between CPAs and firms of the two places through seminars, discussions, visits, and exchanges of staff, information and publications.

SMP speeches online
Presentations of the IFAC SMP forum in early July hosted by the Institute are now online. The forum attracted over 130 people from 35 countries to discuss SMP and SME issues. Click here for more.
