Budget time
 

Professor K.C. Chan, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, will share with members his views on the government's budget in the Institute's annual budget de-briefing seminar to be held on 28 Feb. (Thu) evening. Past President Paul Chan will chair the forum and act as moderator for the discussion. Please mark the date and watch for enrolment details.

 
       

Past President Tim Lui elected to NPC

Tim Lui, past president of the Institute, has been elected to the National People's Congress, which is the highest state body and only legislative house in China. Lui is among the 36 NPC deputies elected to represent Hong Kong. Congratulations.


Mainland city groups - Beijing and Shanghai

The first two mainland city groups for members living and working in Shanghai and Beijing will start operating in March. Members in these cities are welcome to join these networks for fellowship and professional development. The Shanghai city group's inaugural spring cocktail is taking place on 3 Mar. and the Beijing's on 4 Mar. +
