Readership Survey
Thank you for your contributions to the readership survey on the Prospective CPA. We received 679 responses. More than half of the survey respondents consider the contents of the "Prospective CPA" good and 83 percent of respondents spend five minutes or more reading it. In response to your feedback, we will provide more examination related topics, career related issues and technical articles for students' reference. Click here to find out more about the survey findings.
As a token of our appreciation, all respondents went into a lucky draw. Ms. Ho Wai Ying wins the lucky draw and will receive a Hong Kong Institute of CPAs leather folio worth $480.
Golden rules of writing well
Why is concise writing important? Because your readers (like you) are busy people. They do not want to have to wade through a torrent of verbiage to get to the main points. Gillian Christie gives you some tips on how to write concisely. Please click here to find more details.

The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants
The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) is the operating name for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. As the country's pre-eminent professional accounting body it represents over 28,000 members in New Zealand and overseas.
The Institute has branches throughout New Zealand, and in Sydney, Melbourne, and UK. Within this framework, volunteer committees and special interest groups work together to share ideas and create opportunities for members to continually develop their skills. Internationally, members of the NZICA are well respected. The Institute's Admissions Policy is regarded as a world leader. Professional competency as well as academic ability is assessed before members can offer their services to the public.
Through the reciprocal membership agreement signed between the NZICA and the Institute in 2002, Institute members who are qualified through our CPA QP and trained under an authorised employer / supervisor registered with the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs may apply for the prestigious NZICA membership (other conditions apply). You can find more details about the NZICA from its website at http://www.nzica.com.
