We have moved! The student and member services counter at Lippo Centre has been moved to 27/F Wu Chung House, 213 Queen's Road East, Wanchai on 1 July 2006. The Lippo office is now closed. The new space covers about 25,000 square feet, occupying the whole floor. It accommodates great facilities such as a comfortable lounge for informal gatherings, a lecture theatre for CPD seminars and forums, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, and a well-equipped library for research and study. Come to visit us and have a chat with the personnel of Student Education and Training Department!

The Hong Kong accounting and audit job market has been at its most buoyant stage for recent years. According to research conducted by Ambition, accountants switching jobs in general finance positions over the last six months have generally been rewarded with pay rises of 8 to 10 percent. For more specialised positions such as internal audit, candidates can command salary increases of around 20 percent.

According to Guy Day, managing director for Asia at Ambition, pay rises are driven to a large extent by the availability of talents. The harder-to-fill jobs command higher premiums.
