The Institute received tremendous responses for the QP Case Analysis Competition this year.

149 teams comprising 550 students registered for the QP Case Analysis Competition 2007. The written reports are currently being reviewed by a panel of reviewers and the list of finalists will be announced on 5 November 2007. Earlier, around 250 students attended a seminar on "Corporate re-engineering: strategies and implementation", to prepare for the Competition. Through powerful and interactive presentations on 22 September 2007, participants gained valuable insights into case preparation by understanding more about making a business plan, using financial analytical tools and applying various corporate turnaround processes.

The finalists will come together for the QP Case Analysis Competition Presentation Day, followed by a Luncheon with CPAs, on Saturday,
17 November 2007. If you want to be part of this exciting event, here's a wonderful chance for you to participate – free of charge.

As a QP Affiliate Club member, you can enjoy the privilege of being part of this special luncheon gathering. Take this golden opportunity to meet students from other universities, leading accounting practitioners and business leaders. The number of seats is limited, and they will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. So reserve your place by clicking here now. All applications must be received by 5 November 2007. Please note that priority will be given to all participating teams.

Through Ms. Cheung's lively demonstration and interactive class activities, all participants enjoyed themselves and found the workshop very useful.
