Role of HKICPA as a Trust Services Licensing Body

Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants ( HKICPA) acquired in July 2000 the WebTrust licensing rights from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. This enables HKICPA to license to Certified Public Accountants (CPA) firms to provide the service to their clients.
