BCG Awards winners

CLP Holdings continued its success at this year's Best Corporate Governance Awards. There were also first-time winners including Hang Lung Properties and Swire Properties Limited. The awards presentation luncheon was held today with James H. Lau Jr, JP, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, as the guest of honour. Annual Forensic Update 2017
Join us on 12 Dec to learn some tips on conducting effective interviews from experienced forensic practitioners, supported by case studies from the U.S. and China, and how current technology assists investigations by forensic technology specialists.

Copyright law and the technology revolution
The seminar on 15 Jan will examine the regime governing internet copyright infringement in Hong Kong, discuss different types of infringement, civil and criminal liabilities/enforcement, and introduce how intellectual property audit can help a business.

Internal control series
Enrol in the internal control series from Jan to Mar where experts will share knowledge and practical experience in managing risks, developing internal controls for business improvements, as well as managing risks arising from relationships with third parties.

Building controls in ERP systems
The IT series workshops from Feb to May will discuss the four critical end-to-end business processes when designing enterprise resource planning systems. The workshops cover risk identification, determining internal controls to mitigate risks and demonstrate how a well-designed ERP system improves controls and brings about managerial and operational efficiencies.

Census and Statistics Department's Establishment Survey
Members are encouraged to participate in the 2017 Establishment Survey on Manpower and Job Skills Requirements conducted by the Census and Statistics Department. The survey letter was sent to organizations in early Nov and your valuable contributions are important inputs for the Department's upcoming manpower projections.
