LegCo election update

Five nominations forms for the accounting functional constituency have been received and nominations have closed on 1 Aug. The candidates are: Chan Mo Po, Paul; Kung Yiu Fai, Ronald; Tam Heung Man, Mandy; Wong Wang Tai, Ivan and Yim Ting Wai, Francis. Our first forum for the candidates is on 5 Aug. and you can watch the web cast if you can't attend. Media coverage about elections has been extensive, and some members have voiced concerns about the Institute's independence. Click here to see the chief executive's reply.

LegCo election finance

The revised notes for LegCo candidates and auditors under the LegCo election financial assistance scheme is now posted on the Institute's website. The notes were prepared by the Registration and Electoral Office in consultation with the Institute for the coming September LegCo election.
