QP hits new recordThe Institute graduated a record-breaking class of 1,223 QP graduates (a 34% jump from last year) at the annual award and graduation ceremony on 5 Sept., officiated by Michael Suen, secretary for education. Over 3,600 students have graduated since QP commenced in 1999. Click here for the press release.

Past president Paul Chan has been elected LegCo representative of the accountancy functional constituency. More than 63 percent of our eligible voters went to the polls on 7 Sept. Click here for details from the government website.

The IASB and U.S. FASB are working to converge the guidance on earnings per share. Please give your views on the proposed amendments on IAS 33 - Smplifying Earnings Per Share. +
