Free family storytelling "Rich Kid, Poor Kid" session

 

The Institute will host a "Rich Kid, Poor Kid" storytelling session on
3 Mar for both members and non-members. Parents are invited to bring their children (between the age of 8 and 11) to join this free session. Hurry! the enrolment deadline is tomorrow, 23 Feb.


Identifying high yield stocks
Enrol in the workshop on 23 Mar where the speaker will unveil the essential attributes of "real" high yield stocks from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives.

How would discrimination laws affect professional accountants and commercial industry?
The seminar on 16 Apr will talk about preventing and dealing with sexual harassment at professional firms/ workplaces and share real cases on sexual harassment and discrimination disputes. Topics covered include discrimination in pregnancy, staff injuries, employment/ service providing process, staff jokes and ex-employee complaints.

Risk management
Enrol in the risk management workshops in April and May to sharpen your financial and management skills, and enhance your business acumen and commercial awareness.

Reminder
Come hear two high-profile Legislative Councillors share their perspectives on the budget in the evening budget commentary forum on 28 Feb, after the financial secretary's 2018-19 budget speech. Speakers will discuss the impact of the budget on the community and economy.

ISACA annual conference
ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter's annual conference will take place on 22 Mar with the theme "Managing Risk and Security for the Technology Transformation". Members can enjoy a 10% discount by indicating themselves as HKICPA members and stating their membership numbers in the "Supporting Organization" field during the registration process.

Car permit registration for Hong Kong- Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
