President's Dinner

 

Bernard Chan, Convenor of the Non-Official Members of the Executive Council, was this year's guest of honour at the annual President's Dinner held on 13 Sept. The dinner gathering, attended by past presidents, Council members, committee chairs and senior management, invites leading figures of the Hong Kong community to share perspectives on issues affecting the profession and the city. Consequence of non-compliance with CPD requirements

The Professional Accountants Ordinance requires members to comply with the CPD requirements as a condition for membership renewal. Non-compliance will result in non-renewal of membership. Click here for details.

Annual auditing update
The annual auditing conference on 21 Oct will cover post implementation findings of the revised auditor's report, big data analytics for auditors, investigation of root causes of audit issues, and the new ethics standards on non-compliance with laws and regulations and auditor rotation.
