Data centre internet connection upgrade

Due to the data centre's upgrade of the internet connection to fiber, the Institute's online services will be temporary inaccessible on Saturday 14 Oct, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Please contact the IT support team at itsupport@hkicpa.org.hk if you have any queries.

Cross-straits, Hong Kong and Macau Accounting Profession Conference

Over 200 accounting professionals from Mainland, Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong, including the Institute's delegation led by the president, attended the conference on 17-18 Sept in Yinchuan, Ningxia to discuss how the profession can leverage the latest technology. Click to see photos.


Monitoring of members' CPD compliance
The annual CPD audit exercise is conducted after the annual CPD declaration. Every member is subject to the annual CPD audit, and members selected in a random sample must submit their CPD records with supporting documents. Click to learn more about CPD audit exercise.

New corporate finance courses

Invitation to comment
The Institute is seeking comments on the IASB Exposure Drafts ED/2017/5 Accounting Policies and Accounting Estimates and ED/2017/6 Definition of Material. Comments should be submitted by 15 Dec.

Snooker training courses
Join the weekly snooker training courses beginning on 22 Oct to brush up on your snooker skills or pick up a new hobby. Beginner and intermediate sessions are available.

Fitness and stretching classes
Enrol in the weekly fitness and stretching training classes from October to November to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Photography events
Sign up for the sharing sessions and speedlight portrait classes in November to practise your photography skills with a model.

Dance events
Elementary level Rock & Roll and Rumba classes will both begin on 12 Oct in Wanchai.

Beginners Jazz resumes on 11 Nov in Mongkok.
