Financial Controllership Programme celebrates graduation

BEPS series
The BEPS series in February and March will cover the changing outlook of global mobility and Hong Kong government's consultation on measures to counter Base Erosion and Profit Shifting.

INED practices

Members' handbook updates
Update no.194 relates to HKFRS 14 Regulatory Deferral Accounts and amendments to various standards that are effective for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2016. Update No.195 relates to application of HKFRS 9 Financial Instruments with HKFRS 4 Insurance Contracts (Amendments to HKFRS 4).

IASB exposure draft

The Institute is seeking comments on an IASB exposure draft Annual Improvements to IFRS Standards 2015-2017 Cycle by 12 April. It contains proposed amendments to IAS 12, IAS 23 and IAS 28.


Implementation of IFRS 16

This IASB article discusses feedbacks from stakeholders on the implementation of IFRS 16 Leases. The standard is effective on 1 Jan. 2019.

 
Merry Monday

At the Merry Monday on 6 Feb., Coffee ambassadors from Pacific Coffee will talk about "what is coffee" and demonstrate different brewing methods. You will also get to taste coffee from two single origins prepared in two different methods.
