News highlights

	Annual Dinner
	Book your seat at the Institute's Annual Dinner on 2 Dec at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year’s theme, “Together We Shine”, represents the Institute’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of accountants who will be the pillars of Hong Kong, and also the future leaders. Become a supporter of the event as a sponsor, or donate lucky draw prizes. Hurry, early bird discounts is now extended to 8 Nov.

	Oxfam Trailwalker
	Five teams led by Juni Ngai (team number 8158), Ellen Cheng (8157), Ronald Wong (8031), Percy Poon (0066) and Pearl Chau (0065), will represent the Institute in the Oxfam Trailwalker this year. Support them (click on their team numbers above) by making donations to Oxfam or sign up to join the support teams over the weekend.

Bridge gatherings in November & December

The bridge gatherings on 19 Nov and 18 Dec are now open for enrolment. Furnish your skills by joining these practice session.

Dance events in November
	Elementary line dance and cha cha cha classes will commence on 7 Nov, and beginner jazz classes will start on 23 Nov.
	Dance and dine at the monthly dance dinner on 22 Nov at 百樂會 in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Golf events in November
	Join the golf day and tee off with your fellow members at Phoenix Hill Golf Club on 23 Nov.
	Enjoy the fun of indoor golf by joining the indoor golf event on 25 Nov.

Singing technique classes

Enrol in the singing technique classes starting in November to improve your vocal skill for singing pop songs. Join a class that suits your level or the stage performance technique class to build your confidence on stage.

Recruitment of running teams

To support the Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association, the Institute is sponsoring two corporate teams to join the Ngong Ping Charity Walk on 12 Jan. Complete the electronic reply slip by 30 Oct if you are interested in representing the Institute. The races will be very demanding and challenging. Interested members should consider carefully before putting their name forward.

CPA marathon team
Join us as a CPA running team member for the Standard Chartered Marathon 2020 to give the Institute a better chance to win the "Most Supportive Group Award" and get a booth. With the booth we will be able to provide on-site support, including storage for 10km runners, hot food, physiotherapy treatment and more! Register now and also invite your family and friends to join our team.

CPA Cup dragon boat race

The Institute's dragon boat team participated at the CPA Cup – National Day Celebration Dragon Boat Invitational Race 2019 held on 6 Oct. Click to see results and photos.

CPA basketball competition

Congratulations to Vitality for their victory in the CPA basketball competition which completed on 12 Oct. Polson Yue from Team PwC Phantom was the winner of the 3-point shootout game. Click to see full results and photos.

Congratulations to Jeffrey Wang and Stanley Lah for winning the Wong Tan Cup and the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Trophy respectively at the CPA Golf Tournament on 24 Oct. Click to see results and photos.
