Highlights of CPD events include:

	The seminar "Coso Internal Control Integrated Framework" on 12 Mar which will discuss key changes of the updated COSO 2013 framework and how companies can design and implement an effective internal control system.

	The seminar " Accounting for value: is accountancy still fit for purpose in the 21st century? " on 14 Mar will explore the overlaps between financial accounting and sustainability reporting to consider a more significant role for accountancy in how we account for and manage sustainability.

	The workshop " Costing: the inside tips, tricks and techniques " on 15 Mar will talk about the differences between four major costing methods including Activity Based Costing, Standard Costing, LEAN Accounting and Zero Based Costing, and how you can use the relevant techniques to increase company's profitability and competitiveness.

	The webinar "Navigating challenges of tax audits in Hong Kong" on 28 Mar will discuss about the challenges of tax audits in Hong Kong. The speakers will share their insights and experience in handling the IRD tax audits and investigation, in particular, focusing on current tax audit and investigation landscape in Hong Kong, procedures and practical considerations in a tax audit.

	The seminar "The Power of Positive Relationship" on 28 Mar will teach you networking skills to build relationship for your business development.

	The joint seminar " Independence of company directors and duty of care for corporate directors " on 10 Apr comprises two sessions: Session 1 will talk about the concept of independence of company directors and evaluates the extent to which the related regulation fits with this concept; Session 2 will discuss two developments in the way the duty of care is being imposed on directors, including an increased emphasis on skill and regulatory compliance.
