Bridge Interest Group

The Bridge Interest Group currently has a good mix of experienced and beginner players. It always welcomes new members to join and learn this strategic card game and will hold regular gatherings, tournaments and training courses. As a piece of advice from the group's Convenor, Stephen Fung, "Don't be discouraged if you don't get a good score. Just keep practising and feel free to ask fellow interest group members for help." Register as CPA runners and marathon training

If you have successfully signed up for the Standard Chartered Marathon and would like to enjoy our pre- and post-marathon service, please provide us with your reference number by clicking here.

A series of training programmes will be held in October to cater for different levels of runners. Join now to get well-prepared for the race.


Dragon boat training course

Join the dragon boat training course on 12 and 19 Oct. to get a taste of paddling and receive professional training. Only limited spaces are left.


Music appreciation night

Music and songs are always the best tool to relieve your stress from the busy work. Try it out at the music appreciation night on 13 Oct. to listen to classical music and songs from famous broadway musicals.


Golf events

The Golf Interest Group is organizing an outbound golfing trip to Phoenix Hill Golf Club in Dongguan on 25 Oct. for members who wish to enjoy a short getaway and play with other keen golfers.

Last chance to enrol in the CPA golf tournament on 29 Oct. at Hong Kong Golf Club. If you are a keen golfer and wish to compete with your fellow members, this is an event you can't miss.


Dance events

In late October, Line dance will be taught on Tuesdays while Tango (elementary I) and Cha Cha Cha (elementary II) will be on Thursdays. Classes of Jazz Funk and Jazz will run on Fridays and Saturdays respectively. Join a class and keep dancing to stay healthy.
Regular dinner gathering is organized every month for dance lovers. The October dinner will be held on 17 Oct. at "百樂會", Tsim Sha Tsui. Come join to meet new friends and enjoy the fun of dancing.

Badminton events

Three badminton coaching sessions in October and a training course in November are now available for members who want to improve strokes and tactics.


CPA football competition

Join the 2014-2015 CPA football competition by either forming your own team or enrolling in the Football Interest Group's team. It is a seven-a-side competition to be held on weekends between November and January. The first match is scheduled on 8 Nov. at Argyle Street Playground.


Tennis training course

The elementary tennis training course, which comprises four 2-hour sessions, will commence on Tuesday evenings starting from mid November subject to venue availability. Experienced coach will provide a structural training for beginners.


Photography Interest Group annual party

The Photography Interest Group is organizing an annual party on 7 Dec. which includes tutorial sessions and a BBQ dinner. Members' family and friends are also welcome to join.


Sailing news

A sailing basic skills training course will be held in December at Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Centre for members who have already acquired the Hong Kong Sailing Federation Level 1 Introduction to Sailing Certificate or successfully completed our introduction to sailing training course.

Sailing smocks are now available for Sailing Interest Group members to order at HK$530 each.


Bowl-for-fun day

Join the bowling fun day with your fellow CPAs, family and friends on 1 Nov. at the South China Athletic Association Bowling Centre. Our CPA bowling team will be there to help beginners with some basic skills.

Third mini bridge tournament

Tong Yat-chong and Hon Sze-chung clinched championship in the third mini bridge tournament on 27 Sept. Nelson Li and Fung Siu-fan placed second, while Dora Lo and Sin Yim-hung placed third. Click to see photos.


CPA basketball competition

Congratulations to PwC Phantom for clinching the championship at the CPA basketball competition which ended on 6 Sept. and team member Warren Cheung for winning the 3-point shootout game. Click to see results and photos.

Merry Monday

The coming Merry Monday on 6 Oct. will be an orientation about the Institute's Young Members Group, which looks after the interests of our aspiring CPAs. At the Merry Monday, you will also get a preview of the to-be-launched Mentorship Programme. Come join and mingle with your peers in a relaxing ambience and give us your suggestions on the group's future activities.

Joint business networking drinks

Over 60 members took part in the networking drinks for young members on 26 Sept. co-organized with the Hong Kong Chinese Importers' and Exporters' Association, which included a talk about the challenges and opportunities facing the import and export industry, and how CPAs can add value to entrepreneurs. RSCP tenpin bowling tournament

Congratulations to the Institute's bowling team who have retained the championship in the RSCP tenpin bowling tournament on 7 Sept. They were also awarded for achieving the highest 1,075 pinfalls among one of the four games played. Participating teams included dentists, doctors, lawyers and surveyors. Click to see results and photos.
