Dr. Au is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has decades of asset management industry experience. He has held senior positions at organizations including as President of Value Partners Group, Chief Executive Officer as both Eastspring Investments (Hong Kong) Limited and BOCHK Asset Management Limited and senior management roles at HSBC Global Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited and others. He was also a past Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute and the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association.
