Resumption of CPD workshops and sports and recreation events

After having assessed the COVID-19 situation and our hygiene and cleaning practices, we are pleased to announce that both continuing professional development (CPD) workshops and sports and recreation events with a maximum of 30 participants will be gradually resumed with immediate effect.

 

We will closely monitor the situation to determine when it is appropriate to resume other events.

Become a QP Marker and/or QP Workshop Facilitator

QP Marker

 

To become a new QP (Associate Level) marker, you will have to attend the Information Session for Prospective Markers.  This Information Session aims to provide you with information about our new QP examination and its marking process, as well as trial marking experience.  Attending the Information Session is an essential step in qualifying as a QP marker.

 

The general requirements for QP Markers:

 

  • Having a minimum of four years' membership with the Institute;
  • Hold or recently held a responsible position in a professional, business, government or academic organisation; and
  • Having a working knowledge and have demonstrated technical competence in the module subject matter.

QP Workshop Facilitator

 

The Institute is now recruiting Workshop Facilitators for the new Qualification Programme. You are cordially invited to join us in unlocking the potentials of future-ready accountants!

 

For HKICPA members, the general requirements for new QP Workshop Facilitators are:

 

  • Having a minimum of four years' membership with the Institute;
  • Holding or recently held a responsible position in a professional, business, government or academic organisation;
  • Having a working knowledge and have demonstrated technical competence in the module subject matter; and
  • Good command of spoken English.
 

For non-HKICPA members, the general requirements for new QP Workshop Facilitators of Introductory Workshop are:

 

  • Having a minimum of three years of experience in conducting soft skills training;
  • Having a minimum of five years of work experience in managerial position in any reputable or international business corporations; and
  • Good command of spoken English.
