Mr. Cheng was first elected as a Council member at the Institute’s 2010 AGM and has served on the Council since then. He has been taking up positions in various committees of the Institute since 1998.

 

Mr. Cheng is currently the Chairman of HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited and Council member of HLB International. He leads the firm by formulating strategies that contribute to the continual growth of the firm. Mr. Cheng specializes in corporate audits and has extensive experience in auditing companies in different industries, most especially financial services industry.

 

Mr. Cheng has been actively involved in the development of accounting profession through his leadership and participation in a wide range of Institute’s committees. He is currently the Chairman of the Nomination Committee, the Chairman of the Qualification Oversight Board, and Chairman of the Task Force on the Financial Reporting Council Assessment. Mr. Cheng was the Deputy Chairman of the Ethics Committee and the Deputy Chairman of the Audit Profession Reform Working Group.

 

As well as running business, Mr. Cheng’s earnest commitment to making the world better is attested by his sterling public service including his involvement with Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, International Federation of Accountants, Institute of Accountants Exchange, Young Accountants Association and the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal of Hong Kong.

 

Mr. Cheng was qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in London, UK in 1995 and became a fellow member (practising) of the Institute and a fellow member of ICAEW.

 Mr. Sham is currently the Head of Marketing of LEGO leading Digital, Branding, Retail, Community & Theatrical Content Marketing for Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau region. He is also one of the key leadership members in the APAC LEGO Marketing team leading the overall APAC marketing direction.

 

Mr. Sham has all-rounded experiences in both sales and marketing across FMCG, Healthcare, Personal care and Toy industry in multiple APAC markets. Having worked across various global brands, he has strong belief in creating powerful marketing campaigns by combining local consumer insights creatively with global brand story and convert the brand desire to real sales in virtual or physical retail channel.

 

On the personal front, Mr. Sham pays strong effort on building a stronger marketing community locally by sharing his marketing and branding belief in universities and industry conferences. He also places a strong focus on mentorship to develop the builders of tomorrow while also devoting himself on supporting NGOs that work on children causes and children rights.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Mr. Tsang emigrated with his family to the United States when he was a Form II student at La Salle College. He continued his education at Beha Junior High School 60 and Stuyvesant High School in New York City. He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and went on to complete master degrees in Bilingual Education at Boston State College and Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He worked in the Boston Public Schools as a teacher and in curriculum development.

 

Mr. Tsang returned to work as an Administrative Officer in the Hong Kong Government in 1982. He took up a number of posts in commerce and finance, and served as Private Secretary to Governor Chris Patten from 1995-97.

 

After reunification, Mr. Tsang was appointed as Director-General of the Economic and Trade Office in London, Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Secretary for Planning and Lands, Secretary for Commerce, Innovation and Technology, Director of the Chief Executive’s Office and in 2007, Financial Secretary where he served until 2017. He ran for the post of Chief Executive and lost.

 

Mr. Tsang is currently engaged in a number of diverse activities. He is the Founder of Esperanza, a non-profit organisation, the Vice Chairman of Ion Pacific, a financial institution that specialises in technology investments, the Senior Advisor of Bowtie, a virtual insurance company, a board member of the Greater Bay Area Homeland Investments Ltd., an advisor of Q Venture Partners, a VC firm with innovative and design capabilities, the host of a weekly music program on Commercial Radio and the fencing coach of La Salle College.

 

Mr. Tsang is also serving as directors for a number of non-profit organisations, including the MIT Innovation Node, Tennis Association, the Dalton School (an international school) and Hatch (a subsidiary of Social Ventures Hong Kong that provides flexible employment for women).

 

Mr. Tsang is married with two children and three grand-children.

Mr. Morris has been the Group CFO of Jebsen & Co. Ltd., a privately held marketing distribution and investment organization, since November 2019. Prior to joining Jebsen, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Hong Kong listed Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited (aka Ping An Good Doctor, 1833.HK), a leading online healthcare platform based in Shanghai, from December 2017 to October 2018. Before joining Ping An Good Doctor, Mr. Morris spent over 10 years with the Swire Group in Hong Kong, during which he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Asia Miles and Financial Controller of Swire Properties. Mr. Morris started his career with Arthur Andersen in Sydney Australia, before joining PwC in Hong Kong.

Mr. Ngai is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk). He is also the Founder of Playtao Education, BottLess, HATCH, Sonova and a Co-Founder of Green Monday and RunOurCity. 

Prior to establishing SVhk, Mr. Ngai was the Head of Strategy in a listed technology conglomerate in Hong Kong. He received an Honorary Fellowship from the Education University of Hong Kong (2018), and was selected as one of the 100 Asia Pioneers by The Purpose Economy 2014, and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum 2012.

As an ultra-running veteran, Mr. Ngai completed The North Pole Marathon in 2013, Sundown Ultra-marathon 100km Race and the 250-km Gobi March of the 4 Deserts race series.

Mr. Chan possesses extensive multi-industry (incl. retail & distribution; fast-moving consumer goods; funds & asset management; and banking & finance) experience in corporate strategy & planning; sales operation management; customer journey design & insights analysis; marketing & events management; change management; business development; governmental & public relations, corporate communications; and corporate finance.

Mr. Chan is the former Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Inchcape Greater China (a subsidiary of Inchcape Plc. (Stock Code: INCH) listed on the London Stock Exchange), a sole and exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Jaguar Land Rover in Hong Kong and Macau.

Mr. Chan also serves as an Independent Non-executive Director, Chairman of Remuneration Committee, a member of Audit Committee and Nomination Committee of Integrated Waste Solutions Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 923), a company listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Mr. Chan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and was admitted as a fellow member of both the Institute and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In addition, He is also qualified as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Financial Risk Manager.

Mr. Chan obtained his Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; and graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce.

                                                                                                                           

Dr. Charm has over 30 years of experience in the innovation and technology industry and has served as a senior executive at Cyberport, IBM, Oracle, HSBC and Kingdee. He is the former Chief Public Mission Officer (CPMO) at the Hong Kong Cyberport where he has established and nurtured a world-leading innovation and technology ecosystem with more than 1,200 start-ups from more than 30 countries, three of them have become multinational unicorns. His expertise is in big data, artificial intelligence, FinTech, e-commerce, start-up acceleration, and digital transformation of enterprises.

Dr. Charm is the Chairman of OpenCertHub, the Founder of Dr. Charm & Company, and Chairman and Principal Advisor of several Asia’s FinTech, AI, big data, e-commerce and ESG start-ups. He is active in the innovation and technology ecosystem in Asia, and has been invited as an advisor to several Asian companies, government departments, universities, societies and chambers of commerce. He has been the Chief Judge (FinTech) of the most reputable Hong Kong ICT Awards from2019 to 2021.

Dr. Charm published his book <數碼力大提升> in 2020 and received the School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award by The City University of Hong Kong in 2019.

Mr. Chiu is the Group Financial Controller for 100x Group (owner and operator of BitMEX) and has been with the Group since May 2018. He has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting industry.

Prior to the current role, Mr. Chiu was responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting functions of Jane Street Group in Asia for six years.

Mr. Chiu received a BBA Honours degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After graduation, he joined Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving to Deutsche Bank where he progressed through seven years at the bank and held a number of roles in its Finance Department covering Global Markets Equities, Corporate Finance, and Strategic Investment Group. Mr. Chiu is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Risk Manager.

Mr. Lee has more than 18 years international experience in various industry sectors including real estate, retail, airline and aviation and manufacturing in the area of business transformation and innovation, corporate strategy and operations management.

Mr. Chan has over 25 years of extensive professional experience in leading regional financial management, digital transformation, innovation, strategic planning, risk management, procurement and information technology with various world-class multinational companies.

 

Mr. Chan is currently the Chief Financial and Technology Officer at McDonald's Hong Kong. Prior to working at McDonald's, Mr. Chan held senior finance leadership positions in top tier MNCs across multiple industries, including Maersk, Volkswagen AG, Walt Disney, Philip Morris International, Swire Pacific Group and Sun Hung Kai Properties Group.

 

In 2014, Mr. Chan was awarded the honor as the "CFO of the Year - Excellence in Technology Innovation" by CFO Innovation Asia, marking an important milestone of his progressive career.

 

Mr. Chan accomplished executive programs at various prestigious institutions including Harvard, IMD, INSEAD and The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He also holds an MBA Degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). In addition, Keith is a Certified Public Accountant in both the U.S. (AICPA) and Hong Kong (HKICPA).

Mr. Lin joined Gammon Construction as a Financial Controller in Dec 2018.

He has also led the company's innovation and transformation programme,

and helped to manage the partnership with construction-related technology startups. His experience spans a broad range of strategic and operational functions in corporate finance, internal audit, financial controls, and consulting in Jardine Matheson, Goldman Sachs, and KPMG. Trained as a computer engineer, he is passionate about leading changes and improvements that result in streamlined business processes.

Mr. Liu is currently overseeing the Group Internal Audit function, responsible for the corporate governance, risk management, and compliance of one of the biggest property development group companies in Hong Kong. On the management services front, he is driving the group’s innovation process with setting the culture as the key, and realizing innovations through a structured innovation process by engaging all key stakeholders within and beyond the group. He is also responsible for planning, promoting and managing the group's corporate strategy, management system, process improvement and business and operational reviews.

  

Mr. Liu has been with the property development group for over 28 years with a wide range of experience from various roles undertaken within the group, including but not limited to accounting and finance, company secretarial services, merger & acquisition, corporate reorganization, business and change management, internal audit and risk management, talent development and corporate training.  On talent development and corporate training, he had helped the group to establish their corporate university with comprehensive training curricula for all talents of the group, helping them to grow along with the development of the group.

 

Mr. Liu holds the Certified Public Accountants designation and is a member of various professional bodies in the field of accounting, company secretary and taxation. He also holds a Juris Doctor Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA degree from The University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Wong oversees the overall strategies, development, and operation of the Institute‘s Qualification Programme (“QP”) and he aims for upholding the top quality of QP as a premier, internationally recognized professional accountancy qualification.  He also oversees and develops the Learning and Development strategies for the Institute’s members.

 

Mr. Wong accumulated over 20 years of business experiences and he is specialized in the areas of leadership, business and interpersonal skills, project management, people development and professional learning.  He is a member of the Institute, a Professional Member of Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management and a Certified Psychometric Tools Facilitator.

 

His purpose in life is to create inspiration and elevate others’ capabilities to fit for the market needs.

Ms. Yeung joined KOS Group in April 2017 as the Chief Executive Officer.  She is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, training and development of the group’s employees and formulating the overall strategies and planning of the group with the Board. She has approximately 24 years of experience in the HR services industry. Prior to joining KOS Group, from April 1997 to March 2017, she worked at Michael Page Hong Kong as Managing Director of Hong Kong and South China region between July 2011 and August 2013, and her last position was Managing Director in Page Executive division. 

 

She became an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in August 1991, a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in March 1997, a fellow member of the Institute in February 2001 and a fellow member of CPA Australia in October 2008.

Ms. Yeung is a Partner of PwC Hong Kong’s corporate tax practice. She serves a large number of domestic and multinational client, including clients specialising in technology, media and telecommunications.

 

Ms. Yeung has taken part in providing Hong Kong corporate tax compliance and advisory services, including regional corporate structuring, merger and acquisition, tax due diligence, tax investigation and tax accounting and IPO projects.

 

Ms. Yeung has been involved in the recruitment of new graduates and design of learning and development programmes of her firm’s new joiners. She has also been taken part in the digital transformation of tax practice in PwC. Ms. Yeung is a speaker at tax seminars organised by the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation and Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company for start-up businesses. She has also been a speaker for tax seminars organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”). She was the Chairman of the Young Members Committee of HKICPA in 2019 and 2020. 

 

Ms. Yeung holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Hong Kong. She is a member of the Institute. She is also an associate member and Certified Tax Advisor of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong.

She was also the Qualified Accountant of the Main Board for listed companies. Ms. Lee has been the Elected Council member of the Institute since 2018.  She is currently the Vice-President of the Institute, Chairlady of Branding and Communication Advisory Panel, Deputy Chairlady of Governance Committee, Member of Nomination Committee, Professional Conduct Committee Registration and Practising Committee as well as the Task Force on the Financial Reporting Council Assessment of the Institute.

 

Ms. Lee is the founder and director of CookCook Land Limited and several other companies, mainly in FMCG industry.
