Accessibility and Inclusions

We are committed to ensuring all our candidates have a fair opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in the QP journey.  If you feel your performance may be hindered due to a health condition, disability, or specific learning difficulty, the Institute may be able to provide additional support and accessibility functions for your QP workshops and examinations.

Requesting Additional Support

If you have specific learning difficulty (such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and ADHD), short-term or long-term impairment, disability or injury/ medical condition that may require special assistance, you can apply for Special Examination/ Workshop Arrangement.

To support you, available adjustments such as additional time, reader assistance, separate examination room, scheduled rest breaks, enlarged fonts on workshop/ examination materials, etc. may be available according to your situation and the Institute’s guidelines.

Plan Ahead: You must submit your application and supporting documentation at the time of submitting your student application or before enrolling your workshops and/ or examinations  in each enrolment session

Provide Documentation: In addition to the completed application form, you will need to provide a recent medical report from a qualified practitioner detailing your date of diagnosis (to be within the last 12 months) and his/ her recommendations on the testing accommodations; and provisions that were granted to the candidate during prior university and/ or professional examination.

For full details on the policy and application process, please download our application form.

Accessibility Features of Computer-based Examinations (CBEs)

Our CBE platform includes below built-in tools to support all candidates. These features are intuitive and can be used at any time during your exam.

The font size adjustment tool improves readability by enlarging text and increasing spacing, reducing eye strain and visual crowding.  It may support candidates who have low vision or reading difficulties.

The colour scheme tool offers high-contrast modes and tinted backgrounds to minimize glare, reduce light sensitivity, and stabilize text for more comfortable reading.  It may support candidates who have visual impairments, colour deficiency, or irlen syndrome.

We strongly recommend practicing with these tools on our CBE Practice Platform before your exam day.  You may contact our Candidate Special Assistance Specialist

if you need further assistance.
